Karina & Chris
We have known Karina and her family for a long time, so of course we were absolutely thrilled when they asked us to shoot their big day. In the days leading up to the wedding we were especially excited because Karina and Chris chose to tie the knot at a new venue in Tacoma, West of the Waterway. The venue is in a perfect spot, as it sits next door to the glass museum, right on the waterfront. The location has a stunning view and is a fantastic location for a wedding. There is a big, beautiful set of wood doors where the bride makes her entrance, and the ceremony is set with the water as a back drop, it was pretty spectacular.
This wedding was full of unique details and personal touches. Everything from the guestbook to the Lego man cake stood out, and there was a beautiful scarf laid out for each guest on their chair when they arrived. The ceremony was heartfelt, our old buddy Luke Larson played the guitar, and we enjoyed watching Chris and Karina sign their marriage license at the end of their ceremony, with all of their guests as witnesses. After the ceremony, we spent some time with Karina and Chris taking portraits. With the location of this venue being right in the heart of everything downtown, there are endless possibilities and we were able to get some fantastic images. After their photos, we got them back inside to enjoy their celebration! The wonderful Galluccis Catering did a fantastic job as always. We had a blast with this couple and their guests, it was quite the party!
