Alex & Dan
Port Townsend, WA
I've known Alex since she was 5 years old, seeing as she is my sister! She has been one of my best friends ever since, so when Dan came into the picture I was slightly protective. But within moments of meeting him, I knew he was an incredible guy. We both love beer...
We were honored to shoot their wedding at her moms' gorgeous property up in Port Townsend. From the amazing horse barn to the private air strip in the back yard, and the hobbit guest house, it was the perfect setting for their big day and an amazing property to shoot at.
Megan & Bryce
Megan and Bryce's wedding was beautiful, and near and dear to my heart, Bryce is my brother in law, and Megan is now my sister!
The wedding was at Lake Steilacoom at Bryce's parents home, which is so stunning it is now turning into a part time wedding venue, Lakeview Weddings! This place was perfect for Megan & Bryce's big day because they spend the majority of their summer at this lake every year, soaking up the sunshine and boating with family and friends. In fact, Bryce proposed to Megan in the backyard.
It could not have been a more perfect...
Amanda & Kraig
Black Diamond, WA.
Let's back way up for a minute. Kraig and I have known each other since high school, and through all the parties, big trucks, fast cars, and well, pure non-sense, we somehow made it to his big day!
I blame this on Amanda in the best way. She's awesome, smart, fun, goofy, not OCD at all... and just a beautiful and a genuine human. Props Kraig, you did well! And your two kids together prove this!
Being together for sooo long, and having their kids and a house, the wedding was their "last step."
And we were so blessed to have captured it for them.
Kerry & Zack
Kerry and Zack's wedding was gorgeous..
Up on top of our favorite mountain. Perfect weather, (a little smokey, and then lightning...) awesome couple, and.... PUPPY!
The day was laid back with tons of laughs, a great bridal party, amazing family and toasts (nice one Dad, the video is coming! ;), and it was a damn good party!
We started at the bottom of the Mt. and worked our way up to the ceremony site.. With an insane view of Mt. Rainier... That's one big vitamin R...
We were soon kicked off the Mt. from the approaching lightning so we headed back...
Tara & Jacob
Laurel Creek Manor
Tara and Jacob are two cool cats. They are both super nice, and super good looking!
When they asked us to shoot their wedding, we got really excited as the wedding was going to be at Laurel Creek Manor.
We love this place because it's close to home, there are a million photo ops there, and the owners are fantastic to work with!
The thing we love about September weddings is it is still gorgeous out- without being 90 degrees. The weather was perfect.
When we showed up that morning we met one ecstatic bridal party! I think I even learn a few new bad words!...
Matthew & Kay lynn
DAR - Capitol Hill
This was our first wedding in Capitol Hill! And it was at one awesome venue! Members only!
This was also the first time we had not met a bride in person prior to shooting their wedding! As busy as our own lives are, this is something we can completely understand.
We when met her we were super excited... She was so down to earth, beautiful and we LOVED her dress! :)
When we first got to the venue, in came Matt rolling two kegs of 7 Seas beer...
Those of you who know us can understand why we were so excited..
As more people showed up, the more...
Heather & Ryan
Raspberry Ridge Farm
A beautiful venue, an awesome couple, corn hole, glo-sticks, a pig, and a lot of beer. (some drank upside down...)
Heather & Ryan came to us early last year to chat about shooting their wedding at a venue we have never shot at before.
They said that it's laid-back, has a killer view, and that they were going to do a old fashion pig roast! Umm.. SWEET!
The day was a perfect PNW day, sunny, blue skies, not too hot...
When we showed up, the venue was incredible, it had the "perfect backyard but not" western feel to it and the decor was on point.
Kyle & Jessica
A beautiful bride, a handsome groom and cat shirts...
(which I forgot at home)
The thing I love about these two is they're sweet, quirky and just plain awesome people. Both Kyle and Jess would do anything for their friends, and I am lucky enough to be one of theirs.
We couldn't be more pumped when Jess and Kyle came to us to shoot their big day at Canterwood. Leading up to it we shot their gorgeous engagement photos as well to get us all warmed up for the real thing. Meow.
The day was perfect. We had a great venue and manager to help keep things going...
Alyssa & Blake
Olympic View Estates
Hmmm... Where do I even start...
Alyssa is one of the most gorgeous women we have ever seen. We literally could shoot her like, all day. Everyday.
Don't worry Blake, you are a babe, too... ;)
I met Alyssa alonggg time ago at the one and only Jazzbones on 6th Ave. I made friends with her and her girls(hey Sam!) which lead to them inviting me over to their PLU house. This is where I met Blake. This is where Blake and I drank a beer. Yup, he's cool!
Blake and Alyssa have been together for along time now, and over the years I have poked her with...
Nicole & Sean
Laurel Creek Manor
Yesterday would have been a great day to post this Seahawks inspired couple's wedding, but I was watching the Hawks' smash Da' Bears!
Anyways, we met these two love birds(hawks) last year at Laurel Creek Manor's bridal bash. They very both super nice, Sean is funny as hell, likes beer, and they picked the most beautiful venue around to tie the knot. We absolutely love being able to shoot here as much as we do!
The day was great, perfect PNW weather with a warm smokey haze for all the forest fires that were burning and we had a great bridal...
